BALTIMORE, MARYLAND DECORATED STONEWARE JAR, salt-glazed, "5" gallon capacity mark, semi-ovoid form with flat-top rim and medium collar, double incised shoulder rings with arched tab handles. Brushed cobalt horizontal tulip decoration full round with broad band below, cobalt also surrounding handle terminals. Mid 19th century.
Condition: Good condition with numerous hairlines to base and body including one 11 3/4" L, some exterior only, chip to base.
Size: 15" H, 10" D rim.
