A copy with a sophisticated provenance: Remigio Fesch was the founder of the Museum Faesch in Basel which was dispersed in 1823 to be later partially reacquired by the Museums of the city of Basel. 4to (222 x 139mm). Woodcut historiated initials (some small wormholes in the outer margin). Modern half calf over marbled paper plates. Provenance: some early ownership notes on title - R [emigius] Fesch (ownership inscriptio?) - Museum Faesch Basel (18th-century stamp).
