Condition Report:
The canvas is tightly lined. This painting has recently been cleaned and re-varnished. A decorative image reads well, though some details in the shadows have sunken. Some minor frame abrasions with associated loss are along the edges, but barely noticeable. Craquelure is visible throughout. Inspection under UV reveals some possible fine lines of retouching to address the craquelure. Painting can hang as is. Offered in an elaborately carved giltwood frame with some minor loss on its edges.
