BASS, LONDON; a 19th century 54 bore flintlock pocket pistol with 2.25" turn-off barrel, stamped with broad arrow to key latch, box lock with maker's details, top hammer with push-in slide and retractable trigger bearing Birmingham proof marks and mounted with walnut grips, overall length 17cm.Condition Report - Please note that this lot is not suitable for our in-house postage service. We would recommend booking a collection slot for this lot or contacting Bradleys Antique Packing Services for postage of this lot, their details can be found on https://www.adampartridge.co.uk/services/transport/ Overall good but used condition, signs of recent polish, with minor tarnishing visible, barrel is free, trigger is stiff, it does release when pulled to the fully cocked position but is hesitant to come down until pulled all the way back, safety is functional and fires from full cock position with good spring tension, minor surface wear visible to the grips including scuffs, scrapes etc, all commensurate with use and age.
