Condition Report: Overall good vintage condition and appearance. Plaster, concrete and wire mesh elements from previous mounting adhered to the back of each tile. Left facing Peacock Tile: Chip in upper left corner along upper edge measuring 1/2 x 1/4in., scattered pin dot accretions in upper portion of decoration. Right facing Peacock Tile:Chip in upper right edge measuring 1/2 x 1/4in., and a horizontal line scratch in upper decorations measuring 2 1/2in long. The raised decoration is slightly more muted than the left tile.
