Publisher's full green cloth, covers and spine decoratively stamped in green and red. Spine and covers with some soiling, and light wear. Neat previous owner's gift inscription on the first leaf. FIRST EDITION, FIRST ISSUE of "America's greatest and best-loved homegrown fairytale," binding state B, with unserifed publisher's imprint in red on the spine (binding state A was reserved for pre-publication and presentation copies for friends).
