Spine ends bumped, light wear, offsetting from illustrations, jacket restored, spine slightly faded, soiling and darkening. FIRST EDITION in first state binding and jacket with 16 titles listed on the back flap. Thompson was recruited by publisher William Lee to continue L. Frank Baum's "Oz" series after his death.
