"Late Afternoon." Oil on canvas view over the Hudson, signed lower right. Appears to be in original frame. Includes paperwork; painting was acquired by the Corcoran Gallery of Art, DC in 1923 for $350. Painting was acquired from the Corcoran by the consignor's parent. Also included are copies of letters by Tyler describing the painting. Dimensions: (Frame) H 31" x W 34.5", (Canvas) H 20" x W 24" Condition: Paining unvarnished. Very slight surface dirt. Frame with a few minute losses.
Condition: All the items in this auction remain at our gallery location in Norwalk, CT for pickup. Preview is by appointment, Monday-Friday, 9:30-4:30. Items must be picked up in the time frame of Tuesday, Wednesday December 1st- Friday, December 10th, 9am-5pm, WEEKDAYS.
