Graduated in Fine Arts at the Complutense University of Madrid Belén Elorrieta obtained the landscape scholarship "Pensionados del Paular" in Segovia, with Silver Medal. At the beginning of her career she began to enter competitions to make herself known and was awarded a Medal in the VIII BMW Competition in 1993; the First Prize XIV Black and White XIV in 1996 and a postage stamp in 2006 with a reproduction of the original painting. She was also awarded First Prize in the X Certamen Puerto de Santa Marà a, Cádiz in 1991; Revelation Prize awarded by Ediciones Correo del Arte in 1992; Acquisition Prize in the XIV Concurso Adaja Ãvila in 1998. Throughout his career he has participated in numerous exhibitions, highlighting his solo exhibitions in relevant artistic spaces such as; Argar Gallery, Almerà a, Espalter Gallery, Madrid, Pedro Torres Gallery, Logroño, Arte Lancia Gallery, León, Alfama Gallery, Madrid, Burgocentro Gallery, Las Rozas Madrid, Nolde Gallery, Navacerrada (Madrid), Tavira Gallery, Bilbao, Cervantes Gallery, Santander, Puchol Gallery, Valencia and Bay- Sala Gallery, Bilbao 2015.
