The 1972 Browning BLR .308 Winchester is a premium, Belgian-made lever-action rifle featuring a unique geared rack-and-pinion rotary bolt design that provides an incredibly smooth, fast cycle and a tight lockup. Chambered in the versatile .308 Winchester cartridge, this rifle utilizes a 4-round detachable box magazine that protrudes slightly below the receiver, allowing the safe use of aerodynamic, pointed spitzer bullets unlike traditional tubular lever-actions. Built by Fabrique Nationale, Its classic aesthetics include a forged steel flat-top receiver that is drilled and tapped for scope mounts, an adjustable rear flip-sight paired with a hooded ramp front sight, and a high-grade checkered walnut stock with a straight grip and a satin finish.
