Cal. 8x57. S# 9789g. Bbl. 23 1/2". Standard K98k sights with hooded front. All visible matching numbers & inspected parts have proper "214" markings. "duv 41" coded K98k rifle denoting 1941 production by Berliner Luebecker. Blued finish. Laminated stock set with left side sling provisions & leather sling. Unnumbered cleaning rod present. Right side of stock has partially faded eagle "H" & "214" stamps. CONDITION: stock shows a 9" delamination running from ahead of triggerguard into forend, some light band removal wear, finish loss, scattered dings & handling marks. Metal retains 60% original blue with notable flaking to brown & oxidation on bottom metal, scattered edge wear, handling marks & light oxidation. Action functions properly when hand cycled.
