IRIS MURDOCH AT HER FRONT DOOR, STEEPLE ASTON, OXFORDSHIRE, 1963

Silver print, printed 1976. Titled in black ink in the margin. Titled, dated and annotated in black ink with photographer's blue ink stamp on the verso. Matted and framed.
image: 23.1 by 19.7cm.; 9⅛ by 7¾in.

Condition Report:
This work is in overall very good condition. Upon close examination in raking light, the following are visible: scattered tiny deposits of original retouching; several soft creases throughout the surface of the image, none of which appear to break the emulsion; and a few concentrated areas of rubbing/abrasion around the subject's arms. The paper is gently rippled throughout, primarily along the lower edge. There is some faint soiling and wear to the edges, and the extreme corners of the print are very slightly bumped. Matted and framed.
