Printed on vellum and illuminated throughout in gold and colors by Nestore Leoni, with elaborate borders and numerous large initials, text on rectos only. 4to, full green levant morocco, covers with a wide center rectangle panel of inlaid white, borders elborately tooled in gilt arabesque design, with inlays of oval and circular medallions, spines gilt in compartments; doublures of a similar design with author's monogram in gilt in each corner; the center panel is a decorative rectangle of white and purple morocco inlays surrounding a central octagonal white pigskin panel, the border of green morocco is highly decorative, all edges gilt, by the Trautz-Bauzonnet bindery; preserved in custom cloth chemise and slipcase with calf gilt lettering piece.
