Dimensions: Height: 3.6 cm, Diameter: 17.5 cm

Pair of Chinese Qing Dynasty Blue and White Dragon Porcelain Plates with Zhiyuantang Mark. The plates has a broad wide central interior, thick and round mouth lip, raised on correspondence footed ring base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against blue fine color, depicted of imperial five claws dragon flying careening through cumulus clouds above thrashing Li-shui waves. The mark Zhiyuan Tang Zhi may be translated as Made for the Far Distant Hall. This hall mark is recorded as having been used for a number of blue and white plates of dragon and clouds design dating to the Qianlong period. The glaze has smooth texture and moisturizing, attracting unceasingly admiration.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a four under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within blue rectangle line.
