Decorative blue and white porcelain tea caddy or covered jar of architectural form, presented on a fitted carved wood display stand. The porcelain body features an intentionally crackled glaze with cobalt blue floral decoration depicting a large flowering urn surrounded by blossoms and foliage. Additional floral decoration continues along the sides and shoulder. The removable stopper-style lid is finished in a contrasting crackle-glazed white. Underside bears an underglaze blue crown-style mark and retains a paper label reading "Made in the People's Republic of China" and "Not for food serving / May poison food / For decorative use only." An attractive Asian decorative accent with a nicely aged appearance.
