BMW 3. 2 Litre V8 (502 Barockengel) * Very extensive documentation * In family ownership for more than 34 years * Rare on-board tool box under the bonnet * Sought after 3. 2L. V8 engine From 1955 to 162, only 2,537 copies of this version were made. Originally, this BMW left the factory in November 1960. The first registration was in Germany, thereafter the car came to the Netherlands in 1965. The current owner ( a family) has owned the BMW already since 1987. In the 1970s, the interior was reupholstered with black imitation leather upholstery. According to the “birth certificate”, the car originally left the factory in the colour 'Nachtblau'. In 2005 the car was repainted in the colour 'Blaugrau'. This metallic paint is a very nice combination with the black interior that is finished with a beautiful wooden dashboard. The switches and gear shift knob are made of 'Ivory'. The sand-coloured / beige carpet has recently been renewed and is beautifully finished with a piping. The very extensive well-documented history consists of a folder with, among other things, the ‘birth certificate’, invoices (worth € 14,500) and a recent valuation report. In 2007, the engine was thoroughly addressed and equipped with new bearings, piston rings and seals. The clutch plate was equipped with new friction material. The Dunlop braking system has recently been overhauled. The ignition is equipped with a 'Velleman' electronic transistor ignition. Another nice piece of BMW trivia: did you know that the clock in the ceiling can be wound manually? The fittings of the sills, mudguards, doors, bonnet and boot lid have a great fit. This unique Barockengel is a feast for the eyes of the BMW enthusiast! We can also arrange export documents and transport for you. A 2-week insurance is also possible! You are welcome to view this car in our showroom and to take it for a test drive before you place a bid. This vehicle can be viewed and picked up in Oldemarkt, the Netherlands. The BMW has acquired a few signs of wear and tear over the years, please see the photos.
