BMW - E30 - 318I Mtech I - 1987

Up for auction: An original ex works Mtech1 BMW E30 Coupé from February 1987 with only 164,729 km on the counter. The car is parked in a heated garage. The E30 Mtech1 was produced for only a year and a half, there are therefore very few of them as opposed to the Mtech2. What’s special is that it is the Shadowline edition, most of the other Mtech1 editions came with chrome bumpers, etc. The car is originally equipped with the very reliable BMW M10 318I block. The mechanics were recently (summer 2019) completely checked and preventative maintenance was carried out worth thousands of euros. Some of the things that were replaced: All rubber connections and hoses in the engine compartment. Injectors checked and rubber seals replaced. Drive shaft rubbers replaced + wheel bearing rubbers replaced. Brake hose replaced. Brake line replaced. Brake fluid replaced. Oil change. Wheel brake cylinders replaced. Handbrake cables replaced. Various bulbs replaced. Sports frame suspension replaced. Battery replaced. The invoices are included. In short, a real classic that will last for many more years and lots of safe kilometres! Tyres + rims are new (less than 500 km driven) . Lachssilber (203) paint and almost no scratches or damage, no rust. The interior is virtually in perfect condition with BMW Recaro sports seats which don’t have any wear. This car is eligible for the very low classic car tax rate in the Netherlands. Dutch periodic vehicle inspection valid until September 2021! Drawbacks: A car that is more than 30 years old naturally has some drawbacks: 1. a spot of rust emerging on the left rear wheel arch (see pictures) . 2. the Mtech front spoiler has some slight pavement damage on the bottom.
