BMW - M3 E30 - 1987
Original BMW M3 E30 restored from scratch, screw by screw. Original BMW S14B23 engine with 2,300 cc and power of 195 HP.
. Vehicle produced in February 1987. It is possible to verify its authenticity with the chassis number: WBSAK050X01892638. The car still has its original German documents, thanks to which it has the information that says that the vehicle was deregistered in 2000 and that it has been kept unused until its restoration, stored in a dry place and thus avoiding corrosion issues.
. This M3 E30 was fully disassembled, leaving the bodywork completely bare and the slight flaws on it were repaired. It was fully repainted in its original ‘203 Lachssilber Metallic’ colour. When assembling all components of the vehicle, new original BMW spare parts were used or either they were restored to the smallest detail with valid components:
- new electrical system,
- new rear bridge,
- new shock absorbers,
- restored suspension arms,
- restored rims,
- and a long etc.
. As for the most important mechanical components -engine, gearbox and differential-, they were reset to 0 km, using in the case of the engine original new BMW pistons. All components like gaskets, seals, bushings, bearings, etc. are new.
. Tanks to its good preservation condition, the car retains the original ‘0211 Anthrazit’ interior upholstery, having treated the material to clean it properly.
. Over more than one year, hundreds of hours of work were spent on the restoration by professionals, and several thousands of euros in new original BMW spare parts.
. All this resulted in a BMW M3 E30 in original condition to start using again and faithful to the manufacture of this model in the late 80s, with a really high quality in this condition and of the work done.
. It is possible to prove the investment in spare parts via sales invoices; and the restoration works, with several photographs of the process.
. Transport and export/import costs are not included in the price.
