BMW - R 80 ST - 800 cc - 1984

The sister of the famous R80 GS, but better! In surprising good condition. Paintwork impeccable ( resprayed) ; LHS cylinder head completely overhauled; Start,shifts, brakes, steers very well. Requires some LTC technically. Tires 80% and not too old Engine and transmission oil new, filter new. Battery 1 year. Very likely original 155000 kms. Only 5 digit odometer. Bought the bike 3 years ago and found LHS valve cover leaking. On investigation the exhaust nut thread and valves seemed worn and ( common with this engine) cylinder head warped hence the leaking between cover and head. All machined and overhauled. RHS head seems to be in much better condition. Including new windscreen and original small fairing. This bike is the most fun bike I ever owned and I wish I have had the opportunity to buy it new 35 years ago. But as a student I couldn’t afford it back then. Roosendaal, the Netherlands.
