BOB ZIERING."No More." Maquette for an Anti-Apartheid poster and calendar commissioned by the American Committee On Africa (ACOA), 1977. Not removed from frame for inspection.In 1976/7 the American Committee on Africa (ACOA) held an anti-apartheid poster contest and, in cooperation with the United Nations Centre Against Apartheid, produced calendars from the winning entries for the years 1978 and 1979. No More illustrated the calendar page for December 1978. Ziering received his first serious commission from Reader’s Digest. His subsequent illustration work for Fortune 500 companies and cultural institutions, such as The Metropolitan Opera and Cirque du Soleil, has earned him several ANDY awards, the highest honor awarded to commercial illustrators. After working as an illustrator for more than forty years, Ziering now devotes his time to expressing his personal artistic vision in his New York City studio.
