BOHEMIAN COBALT CUT TO CLEAR CRYSTAL ASHTRAY 6"

Impressive vintage Bohemian-style cobalt blue cut-to-clear crystal ashtray, exceptionally heavy and deeply cut with dramatic optical brilliance. The thick cobalt overlay is wheel-cut through to clear crystal in a bold radiating floral and starburst design, creating elongated petal-form cuts around the interior and sharply faceted geometric cuts around the exterior. Deep notches along the substantial rim form cigarette rests while the polished clear facets contrast beautifully against the intense cobalt blue. The workmanship and design are consistent with mid-century Czech/Bohemian cut-to-clear crystal; no maker's signature or label is visible, therefore the exact manufacturer and origin remain unconfirmed. Comparable Czech/Bohemian examples are documented in the vintage market. | | APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS | Approximately 6" diameter x 3" H. | | PICKUP, SHIPPING & TERMS | Local pickup by appointment in Palm Beach Gardens.
