Grand in-folio dans sa reliure d’éditeur en plein parchemin réalisée par Jacques Wendling relieur d’art à Paris, ornée en or et en couleurs avec titre imprimé en creux au dos et sur la couverture, dans une grande chemise cartonnée et un emboîtage richement décoré. Édition originale de 194 pp. illustrée de 195 photographies gravées dans le texte et 40 planches hors-texte sous serpentes légendées. Tirage à 338 exemplaires, celui-ci n°V, nominatif, pour Louis Trembley. Très bel exemplaire de cet ouvrage monumental édité et photographiés par deux grands voyageurs genevois de talent
