LOT NOTES
In 1926, Boris Anisfeld created costume designs for Mikhail Mordkin's ballet Carnival, produced by the Mikhail Mordkin Russian Ballet Company. Several other drawings from this series are now in the permanent collection of the New York Public Library. Carnival premiered in Philadelphia in September of 1926.
