CONDITION
Observed in frame, the painting appears in age-appropriate condition. Overall very fine and stable craquelure visible to the naked eye. A thin layer of surface dust. A horizontal line visible along the top edge consistent with the panel splintering. Inspection under UV shows an even layer of varnish and scattered retouching, most notably to the sky.
