Shaped case with contre-boule marquetry in brass and dyed tortoiseshell designed as flowers and tendrils. Gilt bronze mounts designed as rocailles, leaves and scrolls, and a figure of Mars as a boy. Relief-decorated bronze dial with enamel cartouches for the hours and the minutes. Movement with verge escapement, striking the 1/2-hour on bell. Dial with repair. The marquetry with large losses, restoration required. The movement may require servicing.
