BOXED HIGH STANDARD MODEL HB SEMI AUTO PISTOL

SERIAL 297487. BARREL 4.5". CALIBER .22 LONG RIFLE. This is a second type with an external safety and was made from October 1948 through May 1949. Serial number range 274,197 through 311,535. About 22,000 made. They were made with both 4.50" and 6.75 inch barrels. It features an exposed hammer, blue finish with monogram black plastic grips and comes with one magazine. The short production period, high quality and exposed hammer have made these guns very desirable as of late but they have always been revered for there quality and reliability This one has seen some use and retains about 75-80% original high polish blue with excellent grips and bore.
