SIGNED BREGUET, NO. 3814, SOLD ON 15 FEBRUARY 1807 TO LEROY A CONSTANTINOPLE FOR THE SUM OF 2,754 FRANCS
Movement: Nouveau caliber, manual, gilt, jewelled ruby cylinder escapement, pare-chute suspension and temperature compensation curb, repeating with three hammers on two polished steel gongs activated by depressing the pull-and-twist piston in the pendant
Dial: white enamel, Turkish numerals, secret signature in Turkish script, secured by a screw below 12 o'clock, signed in Turkish script
Case: Three-body, the back cover decorated with a very finely painted on enamel view of a lake with opalescent sky painted by Thomas Seguin, the border and bezel decorated with translucent red enamel and gold foliage, 54 mm. diam., detachable gold cuvette
