Condition Report:
Overall the condition of both waxes is very good with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There are a few small splits to the wax, including to the proper right hind leg of ‘The Old Postboy’ and to his rider’s waist, and to the neck and the flank of the ‘Rat-Tailed Horse’. There is further minor general surface wear including some discolouration. The wax is slightly dry in areas including to the high points. There is some general wear to the wood boards, in particular to the postboy. The wood frames are in good condition with general minor wear, including some chips to the edges. There is a small crack to the glass of the rat-tailed horse at the right bottom corner.
