BRITISH SCHOOL (19TH CENTURY) PAINTED SILHOUETTE PAIR, each watercolor/gouache on paper, featuring John Eddy, pencil inscribed "JOHN EDDY / AND / JENNY EDDY / FATHER OF JANE / HULL EDDY / AND JOSEPH PULLIBLANK / 1840" and his wife, Jane (Jenny) Eddy, pencil inscribed "JENNY EDDY / WIFE OF / JOHN EDDY / MOTHER OF / JANE HULL EDDY / AND JOSEPH PULLIBLANK / 1840". Housed in period gilt-painted frames. Inscribed to back. Dated 1840. 4 1/8" x 3 1/2" sight, 5 7/8" x 5 1/2".
