BRITISH SNIDER CARBINE CONVERSION

SERIAL NUMBER 920 BARREL 21 1/2" CALIBER .577 SNIDER MANUFACTURED CIRCA 1870. Converted to Snider MKII pattern carbine with Tower marked lock dated 1860. 2 iron barrel bands with brass stock tip and butt plate with brass trigger guard. Sliding adjustable rear sight with post front sight and lug for Saber bayonet. CONDITION, Good with strong rifling with some darkness in grooves. The stock is very fine , full sized and without distress. The exterior iron has toned to a mellow patina. The action operates properly. ANTIQUE
