The pair of cast bronze figures displayed on matching slate bases with incised and gilded foliate in neoclassical bronze frame with female mask and raised on paw feet; the figure holding a vessel being a depiction of Pandora after Jean Jacques Pradier (Swiss, 1790-1852) incised Pradier scpt in the casting, the other with incised mark of Marin. scpt after a work by Joseph Charles Marin (1759-1834), each in rich brown patina.
Measure 19 inches each.
