Heavy Nickel-Plated Bell, with support arm, with original iron clapper and knotted pull cord, engraved "Grace Choate, 1907", probably commemorating the launch of a new ship named after the 42-ton Schooner Grace Choate that was launched in 1867 and went aground in a storm at Mount Desert Ferry (Maine) on August 10, 1907; 9" high, 10 1/2" x 8 3/8".
