BRONZE STATUETTE
Etruscan art, first quarter of the 5th century B.C.
A beautiful and rare statuette of a woman depicted standing, with her right leg slightly forward and her arms bent forward, holding a flower in her left hand and, in her right, an attribute that is now missing. She is dressed in a long pleated chiton, forming fine, elegant ripples, while her shoulders are covered by a pleated drape. She wears sandals adorned with a zigzag pattern and is crowned with a radiate diadem, which holds back her long, very finely detailed hair, consisting of curls at the front and tied in a knot at the center of her back. Her face features almond-shaped eyes, a straight nose, and a smile characteristic of Etruscan art.
