BROOKLYN / GIANT PRISM WITH THUMBPRINT BAND OPEN COMPOTE, colorless lead glass, gauffered edge, raised on a circular foot with a flaring hexagonal step, wafer construction. Bakewell, Pears & Co., Pittsburgh. Third quarter 19th century. 4 1/4" H, 9 1/4" D rim, 4 1/2" D foot.
Nearly undamaged with a single chip to the edge.
