BROWNING SUPERPOSED LIGHTNING 12 GA, O/U MFG 1960

SERIAL NUMBER 84624 BARREL 28" CALIBER 12 GAUGE MANUFACTURED 1960. Manufactured in Belgium at Fabrique Nationale for Browning Arms. blue finished with single selective trigger and ejectors. Varnished round pistol grip stock with adjustable recoil pad assembly. Choked Full & Modified with 2 3/4" chambers. 1 1/2 drop at comb 2 3/8 drop at heel. The Lightning model Superposed have thinner barrels of tougher steel to reduce weight overall in the shotgun. A number of internal lightening cuts are made internally as well as a hole being drilled in the butt under the recoil pad. CONDITION, Good with some restoration. The barrel is very good with over 95% blue with bright chambers. The receiver is very fine with slight edge wear but retains over 95% blue finish the trigger guard has been refinished. The stocks are very good with the original varnish having been polished. The action operates properly. C&R
