BRUNNER Cut Crystal Egg Shaped Vessel

An egg shaped cut crystal container with a hinge and rim made of gold toned etched metal that surrounds the lid and base rims, a decorative floral/ shell like shaped ornament rests on the obverse side of the egg. Grooves are cut from top of the egg to the middle of the body and continues to the base. Underside is marked Brunner but signature is worn. Property of Manhattan, New York Estate of D. Winston, matchmaker to the stars, NYC Socialite and philanthropist. Approx 8.5 in tall and 5.75 x 5.75 in wide. Some blemishes to the crystal body and wearing to metal rims.
