BRYNNER YUL: (1920-1985) Russian Actor, Academy Award winner. An excellent signed and inscribed 14 x 11 photograph of Brynner in a half-length pose in costume from his most famous role as the King of Siam from a Broadway stage version of the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical The King and I. Photograph by Ray Fisher of Miami (1976). Signed by Brynner in bold black ink to a clear area of the image and inscribed to the photographer, 'To Ray Fisher, All the best, Yul Brynner', and dated 1976 in his hand. It was for his role in the film version of this musical that Brynner won his Oscar. A couple of very slight, minor corner creases, otherwise VG Brynner performed the role of the King of Siam 4625 times on stage.
