Rooted sheepskin, smooth, decorated spines, red title labels, gilt roulette framing on the covers with, in the center, a lovely gilt plate depicting a mother and her child in front of beehives, surrounded by a scroll inscribed with: “If ever you lack courage in your work, remember the sweetness of its fruits.” Scuffing on the caps and corners; one hinge split.
