Maker's information on top of action; S#s mismatched. "Burnside Rifle Co." "Providence RI" is stamped on back spring lock. Walnut stocks are complete with steel buttplate and sling loop on toeline. Forend is attached by screw and one spring retained band. CONDITION: fair to good. Carbine is complete. Metal parts with cleaning and overall light pitting. Stocks refinished with sanding marks. No inspector's marks visible. Very good bore lightly pitted; mechanically good. (01-30081/MGM). ANTIQUE. $1,000-1,500.
