BUST OF A TIBETAN BODHISATTVA

Intriguing silver statue of a Bodhisattva fragment attached to a rod. The Bodhisattvas chest is almost naked only adorned with two simple necklaces, one with stone inlay. His right hand is showing the abhaya mudra. The body is slender with a fine head decorated with a tiara with a Buddha Amithaba effigy in the center. The face is calm with downcast eyes and a portruding dot between the eyebrows. When we look at the back we see the long hair falling down on the back in strands.
