A large Baccarat crystal Rhine wine decanter, lavishly cut, "Lagny" model. The Lagny model is quite old as it appears in the 1916 Baccarat Arts de la Table catalogue. It is listed under the name of Lagny in the catalogue of 1933. This is one of the most beautiful and most prestigious models of the crystal factory: made of thick crystal, allowing for cut patterns with multiple complications, always perfectly executed without any gaps, it is very lavishly cut, and creates an exceptional shine to the products of this range. The decanter from the Lagny service has a stopper in the shape of a pine cone, a sign of sophistication at Baccarat.
