Baccarat crystal toilet bottle, Nancy model enhanced with fine gold thread. Its large format allows it to also be used as a whiskey bottle.
A model in cut crystal created in 1867, the Nancy service was presented at the international fair in Nancy - which gave it its name - in 1908. The model has been listed in each Baccarat Tableware catalog since.
Our piece, produced at the beginning of the 20th century, is not signed (at the time the crystal factory stuck a paper label which went away quickly) but is present in the catalog of toiletries from 1916.
Our bottle is in good condition. The lower part of the cork is uneven, but the cork still fits very well in the neck.
