Baggio Annico Louis XV Style Italian Foyer Table

A round Louis Quince style coffee table, side or end piece with exquisite marquetry decorated, profuse flora and other designs to the top, and encircling inset bronze metal designs and badges. produced c. 1960 by Baggio Annico of Italy. The four legs are intricately hand carved with inlaid bronze metal accents to the crossed leg supports, terminating in a striking central cream and gilt ornament, with Ormolu gilt bronze acorn finial.
