[ translate ]

Bagshaw percussion 20 bore side by side double barrel shotgun, 27.5 inch Damascus barrels with gold lined breech, scroll and game bird engraved actions, chequered stock. Section 58 (2) Antique / obsolete calibre, can be owned without a licence. Buyer must be over the age of 18, age verification will be required if the lot is to be posted out. Dimensions: 111cm longCondition Report The shotgun is a 20 bore not a 16 bore as previously cataloged. The gun is in average slightly worn / tired condition and shows significant signs of age and wear. It would probably improve significantly with sympathetic cleaning/restoration. The bore has pitting throughout. There are two small dents to the right hand tube. The engraving to the rib is almost worn away. There is some light surface speckling to the metal parts and a dark brown patina exists throughout the gun. The actions cock and release with strong springs. There is some forward and backwards play to the right hand hammer as it is not as tightly fitting around the tumbler axis. The ramrod is probably an old replacement. The stock is free from splits or cracks, there are some dents and scratches. The chequering is worn. Please register to request a condition report
