Arabic manuscript on paper, 123 leaves, 19 lines to the page written in naskhi script in black ink in more than one hand, significant sentences in words picked out or underlined in red, illustrated with numerous diagrams, some coloured, one illuminated headpiece in colours and gold, some commentaries written diagonally in outer margins, catchwords, edges frayed, waterstaining mostly restricted to outer margins, small repairs, beige morocco with stamped central medallions of gilt leather onlay decorated with stylised serrated leaves and flowerheads, doublures with gilt-painted central medallions incorporating intertwining floral and vegetal motifs on a dark green ground
