Bailey Bros. Tobacco Company Letters & Ephemera
Nice group of historic letters, canceled check from 1906, shipping receipt for tobacco and a small, 2-piece cardboard shipping box with label from Bailey Brothers sent to a gentleman in Mocksville, NC. The two typed letters date to 1923 (one has the original envelope) and concern the bankruptcy and reorganization of the company under the direction of a Frank Swick who was an executive with Phillip Morris at the time. Letters are 8 3/8" x 11"
