Bailey & Co. Mid 19th century impressive large Chinoiserie decorated coin silver four piece tea set. Philadelphia. Large figural Asian finials. Repousse scalloped rim decorated. Leaf form handles. Teapot, covered sugar and creamer all marked Bailey & Co. Philadelphia. Open waste bowl made to match other pieces. Marked "The Bailey, Banks and Biddle Co." sterling. Monogrammed. Each piece engraved on bottom base rim- "From Their Mother Virginia Shelby Breckenbridge. November 1850". Teapot with 1/8" slight dent on base. Coffee pot- 14-1/4" high. 132.8 ozt.
