This Bakhtiar is a so-called garden pattern, also called “Kheshti”. The motifs from the plant and animal worlds are typical of this pattern. The most commonly used natural colors are red, brown and cream.
The warp and weft are usually made of cotton and the pile is made of high-quality regional sheep's wool - the dense weave makes the carpet extremely durable.
