BALDUNG GRIEN, Hans St. Bartolomew. 1519 Woodcut, 21,5 x 13,4 cm, laid paper, monogrammed bottom right. Stuck by corners under passe-partout. Good impression. St Bartholomew as full-length figure in a large cloak, holding a flaying knife in his left hand, with a white halo emitting rays across the upper half of the background only.
