Balkan 18th-19th C. Ottoman GREEK BICHAQ Dagger All Silver & Exquisite DAMASCUS STEEL
Superb single edged blade displays prominent damascus steel with scattered oxidation. Bolster shows decorative engraving with soft wear to the high points. Tapering hilt is fully encased in silver repousse featuring floral scrolls and a characteristic bird’s head pommel showing an even grey patina. Matching silver scabbard remains solid with a bud shaped terminal and intact suspension chain. Excellent overall. Full length 14.5 inches, blade 8.5.
